Position SummaryConstruction Quality Control Technician is responsible for sampling and testing aggregate and hot mix asphalt products. The technician works with production to ensure products meet customer specifications and reports results to management and road construction crews. On‑the‑job training will provide the employee the specific knowledge to obtain a Department of Transportation‑sponsored Quality Control Technician Certification.
This is an entry‑level, full‑time seasonal position eligible for year‑round benefits, working from April/May through November. The role requires overtime, some Saturday shifts, and regional travel. Overnight stays will be compensated with per diem reimbursements.

Responsibilities- Sample and test aggregate and hot mix asphalt products.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Report testing results to management and road crews.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Previous quality control experience preferred but not required.
- Effective communication skills and confidence in fast‑paced environments.
- Detail‑oriented, able to listen while safely following protocols.
- Competent in math and computer skills (spreadsheets & email).
- Physically fit to perform job functions including standing, squatting, bending, lifting, and walking for long durations.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Minimum age 18 years.
