Pest control technician

Overview

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Pest Control Technician based in Sandpoint, , with the opportunity to work from home for administrative tasks. Responsibilities include conducting inspections to identify pest issues, implementing effective pest control solutions, maintaining records and logs of treatment activities, and educating clients on pest prevention methods. The Technician must follow safety guidelines and comply with all relevant regulations while ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Ability to identify pest species and knowledge of pest management techniques
• Effective communication skills to explain solutions and preventative measures to clients
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate documentation and scheduling
• Physical ability to perform fieldwork, including lifting equipment and accessing confined spaces
• Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and reporting
• Valid driver s license and a clean driving record
• Relevant certification or willingness to obtain required pest control licensing in accordance with state regulations
• Previous experience in pest control or a related field is a plus
