Grounds Operative

• Undertaking of all grounds/horticultural operations
• Use of hand tools, powered hand tools and ride on machinery to achieve the above
• Driving a company vehicle up to 3.5t and trailer
• Complete paperwork / online forms as required

• Hold a full driving licence or be able to travel countywide, including rural areas not covered by public transport
• Have grounds or horticultural experience
• Experience of using appropriate equipment e.g. mowers and powered hand tools such as hedging tools and blowers
• Able to work as part of a team
• Used to working outdoors

• This is a 37 hours per week role, Monday to Friday, based at our Yeovil Depot (although working elsewhere within the county may be required)
• 25 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
• Will work as part of the wider Grounds Operations Team

The salary for this role is £25,185 - £25,989 per annum
