** The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission is accepting applications for a Hunter & Trapper Engagement Coordinator (Conservation Program Coordinator II) for our Wildlife Education Division.
The Wildlife Education Division is responsible for raising public awareness about the agency, its mission, and its programs. The Division aims to engage and influence individuals through education and various opportunities, encouraging them to actively participate in the conservation of the state’s wildlife resources. The Division develops and delivers education programs focused on hunting, fishing, and shooting sports, along with other conservation outreach initiatives.
With educators located throughout the state, a dedicated fishing education center, and several shooting ranges, Division staff actively engage the public by providing outdoor skills training and educational programs that promote the conservation of North Carolina's wildlife and habitats.
