Grounds Maintenance Operative
We're looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to support the day‑to‑day delivery of grounds maintenance, estate management and improvement works across Leeds Federated properties and external contracts.
What you'll do- Carry out grounds and estate maintenance across communal areas following set schedules and instructions
- Complete grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, planting, fencing and litter picking
- Use tools, equipment and machinery safely and report any issues or defects
- Always follow health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Engage positively with tenants and represent Leeds Federated in a professional manner
- Work cooperatively with colleagues to ensure high standards are maintained
- Some experience in grounds maintenance or a practical outdoor role
- Reliable, organised and able to manage your daily workload
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering good customer service
- Hold a full UK driving licence (essential)
