• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas

The Veterinarian will develop a rapport with clients, determine their needs and wishes, and perform physical examinations, diagnostics, medical, surgical, and dental procedures to deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort. Responsibilities include explaining physical examination findings, communicating diagnoses, generating treatment plans, educating clients on preventative health care, and maintaining client/patient records. The role also involves staying updated with veterinary medical advancements, attending Continuing Education (CE) meetings, assisting in the development of the paraprofessional team, and positively representing the hospital to the professional community and the public.

The Veterinarian is responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients while developing rapport with their owners. In addition to physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry, client communication and education are of the utmost importance. SVP Veterinarians treat each pet and client like part of the family.

• Compensation:
  • Competitive salary range of $110,000-$150,000 per year with an average production percentage of 20-22%.

True PTO allows veterinarians to take time off without the stress of negative accrual or financial penalties. This policy ensures that base pay is protected, and veterinarians consistently benefit more financially compared to traditional models with negative accrual.

Eligible DVMs can earn a bonus payout of up to 10% additional production after contract renewal. The bonus rate is determined by contracted production rates and excess production, offering a greater share of success.
