Level 12 Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at the

D. Dan and Betty Kahn Healthcare Pavilion.

CICU nurses care for patients who have critical needs related to cardiac conditions. Typically this would encompass patients in cardiogenic shock, CHF patients needing Swan Ganz diuresing, unstable cardiomyopathy, and pulmonary hypertension. Often these patients require CRRT, IABP and ventilator support. The CICU also may receive overflow from other ICUs.

• Current RN licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
• Minimum of two (2) years RN experience.
• One (1) year of ICU RN experience within the last two (2) years.
