Neonatal Nurse Practitioner – Permament Position in Oklahoma City, OK
Position Overview:
We invite experienced, board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) to join our dedicated neonatal care team providing exceptional care across four Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) in the Oklahoma City Metro Area. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a balanced work-life schedule, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive neonatal and newborn care.
- Provide direct patient care in four Level II NICUs located at Lakeside, Southwest, Canadian Valley, and Edmond facilities.
- Participate in a rotating schedule of 12 shifts per month, including a mix of 12-hour and 24-hour shifts (both in-house and on-call).
- Be on call from home during off-shift periods, ensuring prompt response to patient needs.
- Assist with newborn nursery coverage at Lakeside through additional 4-hour shifts, as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and quality standards.
- Support family-centered care and package effective communication with families and team members.
- Valid, current Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
- Active Oklahoma state licensure or the ability to obtain such licensure.
- Residency within the immediate local area required; relocation may be necessary.
- Previous experience in NICU settings is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-facility environment.
