Supervisor, Nursing and Patient Care Services

The Supervisor, Nursing and Patient Care Services in a hospital setting plays a key leadership role in the nursing department, supporting the manager in overseeing all patient care activity on their assigned nursing unit(s). They are responsible for ensuring high standards of care, coordinating daily nursing activities, and facilitating communication between medical teams. The role assists with the training, mentoring, and performance evaluations of clinical staff, manages patient care assignments, helps resolve patient and family concerns, and ensures compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations.

Additionally, the Supervisor assists in staffing decisions, maintains inventory for medical supplies, and ensures that the unit is properly equipped to provide quality care.

• BSN degree REQUIRED
• Virginia RN License REQUIRED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 90 days REQUIRED

• Prior OR experience STRONGLY PREFERRED
• 2 years RN experience REQUIRED
• 1 year RN Leadership experience REQUIRED
