Suffolk, VA

First (Days)

• BLD – Bachelor’s Level Degree – Nursing

• Registered Nurse (RN) License - Compact/Multi-State License OR
• Registered Nurse (RN) License - Single State – Virginia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)

• 2 years’ nursing experience (required)
• 1 year nursing leadership experience (required)
• Previous ANCC Magnet Designation Experience (preferred)

The Supervisor, Nursing and Patient Care Services will be responsible for professional practice (to include shared governance), Magnet designation, nursing recognition, and serve as the NDNQI coordinator for the hospital. Will work closely with the Eastern Market Director, Nursing, Professional Practice, Education, and Magnet for Magnet document submission and interim reporting. Collaborates with nursing leaders on patient outcomes. Partners with key stakeholders to support achieving divisional goals and objectives.
