Overview

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 2-South Medical/Surgical Unit. This is a full-time, day shift position on a 24-bed unit serving adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients. Medical or GYN overflow patients are cared for on this unit. The case mix includes abdominal, endoscopic, ENT, general, gynecologic, ophthalmic, orthopedic, thoracic, urologic, vascular, and plastic surgeries. Medical patients are admitted with CHF, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, atrial fib, and chest pain.

Full-time, day shift. Elizabeth City, NC.

New Grad RNs are Welcome to Apply! $7,500 Sign-on bonus. This unit welcomes new graduate nurses and experienced nurses moving into this specialty. The 11-week Transition to Practice program focuses on orientation with knowledge support and skill acquisition for practice in IMC areas. For new graduates, this TTP program is the start of a comprehensive 6-month residency program to support your transition to practice.

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing - BSN or MSN (Preferred)
• Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.
