THIS POSITION WILL BE FILLED AS A PROBATIONAL APPOINTMENT or PROMOTION OF A PERMANENT CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEE OF LOUISIANA STATE GOVERNMENT (State Employee)

SALARY DEPENDENT ON QUALIFICATIONS. This position has a Special Entrance Rate at each level:

• Registered Nurse 1 – $29.84 per hour.
• Registered Nurse 2 – $31.93 per hour.
• Registered Nurse 3 – $34.17 per hour.

Premium Pay: paid in addition to regular pay for qualifying conditions – Retention, Credentials, Experience, Shift Differential. There is Premium Pay at a rate of $5.00 per hour for each hour worked, in addition to regular pay.

  The selected employee may be required to serve a trial detail prior to being permanently promoted.
• TEMPORARY JOB APPOINTMENT
  :
  May be filled by temporary job appointment. If a permanent position becomes available, the employee may be converted to a probational appointment.
• PROBATIONAL APPOINTMENT
  :
  Current permanent status classified State employees may be required to accept a probational appointment, if selected.
