- $70.00/hr pay rate

Department OverviewSentara Norfolk General Hospital Emergency Department is a 53-bed unit. Our Trauma One Facility is equipped to handle a variety of medical emergencies, and approximately 10% are Trauma related. The department is one of only 94 in the United States to receive the Lantern Award from the Emergency Nurses' Association this year, recognizing exceptional leadership, practice, education, advocacy, and research.
Education- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- NIH Stroke Scale
- Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital Emergency Room RN experience

Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans
- Document accurately and ensure regulatory compliance
- Medical, Dental, Vision plans
