Overview
Ensign Services, Inc. (ESI) is seeking a Registered Nurse - Compliance Partner in its Compliance Department. Must be a Registered Nurse with 1+ years of nursing experience in the skilled nursing environment. Primary responsibilities involve performing clinical compliance audits, conducting internal investigations under direction of the associate and chief compliance officer, and reviewing and analyzing medical records and/or claims to detect possible compliance or quality issues.
Responsibilities- Creates and presents regular training on clinical compliance and general healthcare compliance topics
- Performs clinical systems compliance audits
- Reviews medical records to detect possible compliance or quality issues and assists operations to develop a corrective action plan
- Conducts internal investigations involving general compliance and clinical issues under the direction of a lead compliance partner or the Chief Compliance Officer
- Travel required 70% of the time within Iowa/Nebraska and surrounding areas/states
- Registered Nurse
- A minimum of 1+ years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility required, 3+ years preferred
- Understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing the skilled nursing industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Superior interpersonal communication skills
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to work independently in a home office environment on long-term projects and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to teach facility personnel and provide engaging/-informative training
- Credibility and integrity; understands the needs of a large organization’s compliance function
