OverviewThe Informatics Nurse Applications Analyst, Epic OPtime serves as the technical and clinical Health Informatics subject matter expert for the clinical applications. The Nurse Applications Analyst supports the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of Children's Mercy and Information Technology. The Nurse Applications Analyst manages projects and programs in the nursing area they are assigned and assists with more complex projects. They maintain and provide technical support for assigned clinical applications.
The analyst is a liaison to the nursing care delivery teams and develops, implements, and effectively uses clinical technologies to enhance patient care. They collaborate to positively impact patient safety and care quality.
The successful candidate will have at least one application-specific Epic certification relevant to the department, Epic OPtime highly preferred.
This role is mostly remote, but incumbent should live within driving distance of the main campus in KCMO and will be required to attend on-site meetings and training.

- Scheduling to support Sedation and Anesthesia Procedure in Radiology.
- Application and Technology Management.
- Serves as a Health Informatics resource for clinical departments.
- Project and Program Management.
- Integrates nursing science, computer science, and information science to improve clinical systems for patient care safety, quality, efficacy, and efficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, BSN Required and 3-5 years experience. Clinical experience, health informatics, Information Systems, or Information Technology experience required.
- One of the following:
Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire. - One of the following:
Licensed RN - KS, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire. - RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO.
- Plus, at least one application-specific Epic certification relevant to the department (determined by role leadership) required at time of hire. Epic OPtime highly preferred.
- ANCC Board Certification - Informatics Nursing Preferred.

Starting PayOur pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $37.71/hr, but your salaried offer will be determined based upon your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from HomeThis is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children's Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
