Registered Nurse (Hybrid) - Pulmonary Clinic at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City, Kansas City, MO.

Job Description:

We are hiring an RN for our Pulmonary Clinic at the Plaza location.

• Flexible, HYBRID position. Nurses are allowed to work 4 rotating 10 hour shifts each week with some shifts working from home.
• Serve patients with Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep diagnoses, including advanced Interventional Pulmonary procedures.
• Provide professional nursing care for clinic patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care including scheduling emergent need patient appointments, identifying learning needs for patients and families, injections/medication administration, phlebotomy, assisting physicians with clinic procedures, support for the Zephyr Valve Program, and other duties as clinic needs dictate.
• Assign tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and scope of practice; serve as subject matter expert for patient education, care and testing.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting and also autonomously while maintaining excellent customer service and professional demeanor at all times.
• May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant duties, LPN duties, or other office duties as needed.

• At least 1 year nursing experience preferred
• MO and KS RN license required
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
