Education- Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
- Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.
- Registered nursing License (Required)
- Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License.
- BLS required within 90 days of hire

East - Intermediate Care Unit at Sentara Virginia Beach General enjoys a supportive team environment and nurse patient ratio including a unit based nurse educator, team coordinator and manager. The unit has an active Partnership council and is currently involved with the hospital Magnet redesignation journey. All new grad RNs receive a 10 to 12-week clinical preceptorship as well as enrollment in the Transition to Practice Program.
