Registered Nurse – Cardiac IMCU
Overview: Sentara Heart Hospital located on the campus of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac IMCU.
Responsibilities- Provide high acuity cardiac care on a 24-bed unit for patients with cardiac arrhythmias, STEMI, heart failure, chest pain, ICDs, and permanent pacemakers.
- Gain experience in atrial fibrillation medication management and work with state-of-the-art telemetry technology; our unit is telemetry wired.
- Support a Cardiac Intermediate Care unit that is ACCN Silver Beacon Award–recognized for excellence in patient care and a collaborative, positive work environment.

The Sentara Heart Hospital
, a 112-bed care facility, is recognized for cardiology services and heart surgery within the state.
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- Virginia RN License or Compact/Multi-State Eligible
- All Direct Care RNs required to have BLS within 90 days of hire
- Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire
- None required
- Previous healthcare experience (preferred)
