• Provide both direct and telehealth nursing care which includes, but is not limited to, triage and education to patients and families.
• Pre-operative teaching, counseling, and assisting in informed consent for orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Post-operative telephone consultations.
• Assist with a variety of procedures and tasks to maintain patient flow in clinic and provide nursing support to assistive staff as needed.
• Assist with on-boarding of new staff members.
• Respond to medical emergencies within the clinic.
• Candidate must be able to perform duties independently, be highly motivated and flexible in order to address the needs of patients, families and members of the health care team.

• Hourly range for Registered Nurses $41.78-$64.81
  / hour
• Evening Shift Differential $3.00 / hour
• Night Shift Differential $4.00 / hour
• Charge Nurse Differential $1.00 / hour

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan (RN).
• Two (2) years, within the past 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse providing care to adult orthopedic patients.

• BSN
• Ambulatory care experience
• Experience, including but not limited to, with ortho injury wrapping, wound assessment, and clinical nursing skills.
• Experience with care coordination and managing complex patient populations.
• Recent (in the past 3 years) tele-health management skills.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication skills; both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and ability with conflict management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, prioritize duties, multi-task and problem solve with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated flexibility in accepting changing clinical assignments on short notice.
• Proficiency in computer and keyboarding skills, using electronic medical record, along with Microsoft Office and calendaring.

• 40 hours/week.
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, with possibility for evenings, weekends and holidays based on clinic needs. Flexibility is required.
• Location - Domino Farms Medsport and Ortho Hand - with the potential to work and support any orthopedic, and its subspecialties, service locations.
