Va is looking for an energetic, compassionate, bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. We provide primary care services for uninsured and underinsured patients in our community in an office and mobile clinic setting. Some evenings and weekends will be required. A clean driving record for driving the RV clinic is required.
- Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN or Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) within the scope of practice dictated by the State Boards of Nursing.
- Demonstrate professional and clinical knowledge relative to designated clinical practice setting in the delivery of direct patient care.
- Support and communicate effectively with other licensed independent practitioners (Physicians, NP, PA) while providing care and treatment for patients.
- Perform medication administration, testing, and implementation of nursing interventions and care plans to support a holistic approach to patient care.
- Act as patient advocate in the prevention of illness or disease.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support and communicate effectively with other clinicians.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards of nursing practice.
- HS Diploma Required
- LPN license required
- None required experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
