Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Unit.

Norfolk, VA

Full Time, 36 hours per week. First (Days) shift.

Up to $15,000 Sign‑on bonus. Relocation available.

• Provide competent nursing care following the critical thinking model and the nursing process.
• Monitor physical conditions, prescribe medication, and administer chemotherapy and other treatments.
• Deliver care for radiation, stem cell transplants/CAR‑T, radioactive iodine, hospice, and symptom management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate education, health promotion, and evaluation.

• Registered Nursing License (required).
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC), or Sentara approved Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of hire.
• None required for experience (Open to new graduates).

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required).
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Students completing an accredited nursing program are welcome.
