We are seeking a Part-Time RN (Triage & Support) for our Cherry Hill OBGYN office located in Mt. Laurel, NJ. The RN will coordinate patient care by evaluating and assessing patients’ health care needs, obtaining guidance from providers, and accurately documenting assessments and recommendations according to established triage protocols and policies.
Other key duties include:
- Evaluates and assesses patient’s health care needs based on patient’s signs and symptoms utilizing established triage protocols and guidelines
- Obtains appropriate input and direction from the provider as needed to determine best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient health care
- Accurately documents symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice provided and patient/caller response. Follows policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improve health care outcomes of patients/callers and their access to appropriate health.
The position will work Part-Time
, 3-8 hr shifts per week at one of our office locations with the ability to work from home 1-2 shifts after orientation and training is completed. Start times vary based on schedule.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- Current New Jersey licensure as a Registered Nurse
- CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical facility, preferably in an OB/GYN setting.
- Knowledge of CPT coding, lab specific order sets, and eCW are beneficial.
