RN – Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Surgical Unit

Join Bay Care Health System as a Registered Nurse on the Med/Surg Surgical unit eph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. This role focuses on pre‑ and post‑operative care for patients primarily undergoing GI/GU, trauma, and general surgery.

• Independently care for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate appropriate patient‑care activities to other members of the health‑care team.
• Maintain professional accountability and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Act as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required by department.
• Preferred:
  Nurse specialty certification.
• Associate degree in Nursing or Nursing diploma required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 18 months RN experience.

St. Joseph’s Hospital – Tampa, FL. Full‑time, exempt. Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, days. Weekend work every other weekend. No on‑call. Remote work: never.
