Work Shift:

Third (Nights). This position supports Sentara Hospital Support Services in the Regional Resource Pool covering Woodbridge, Charlottesville, or Harrisonburg.

Role
:
Registered Nurse in the Regional Resource Pool with schedule control and premium pay. This is a PRN, Night Shift opportunity offering flexible self-scheduling and premium pay for eligible shifts.

The Registered Nurse is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care (teaching and health promotion), and evaluation. The RN applies standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health) to meet the needs of the clinical area.

• Experience

  Requires minimum 18 months of recent ED RN experience

• Position is PRN, Night Shift

• Minimum 48 scheduled night shift hours per month

• At least 1-12 hour weekend shift per month

• Requires availability to work at 2 of the 3 listed pool hospitals:
  Northern VA/Blue Ridge Pool Hospitals (Woodbridge, VA), Martha Jefferson (Charlottesville, VA), Rockingham Memorial (Harrisonburg, VA)

• Must reside within 75 miles of two of the three hospitals listed above
