Overview

Sentara Care Plex located in Hampton, Virginia is hiring a Traveler for a Temporary Full Time Registered Nurse Evening Shift position in the Emergency Department.

14-week Traveler assignment available.

$70 per hour.

Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in Nursing field required.

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN ER experience.

The Emergency Department consists of 43 beds to include 11 fast-track beds.

This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for overall care of patients. Teamwork is essential with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.

Sentara Care Plex Hospital, located in Hampton, VA, is a 224-bed technologically advanced, acute care facility and a Certified Primary Stroke Center. The Orthopedic Hospital at Sentara Care Plex is the area's first dedicated orthopedic hospital.
