Registered Nurse Emergency Department System-Wide Pool

Role:
System-wide Traveler with assignments across Sentara hospitals, including travel to up to 12 Sentara facilities based on greatest need (Southside and Peninsula Hampton Roads, Northern Virginia, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Halifax, Albemarle, NC).

Compensation:
Premium pay; $15 per hour more based on specialty versus working at a single hospital; 6-12 week assignments.

Travel details:
For assignments greater than 75 miles from home, block scheduling (home in between weekly blocks), meal reimbursement, lodging provided, pay for travel time, rental car or mileage reimbursement, and the potential to earn hotel and rental points.

Experience required:
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience, with rotating shifts.

Education/Certification:

Registered Nursing Diploma;
Valid RN license.

• 2 years of consecutive, recent RN experience in Emergency Department (past 2 years).
