Role Responsibilities

As an OR RN, you will be integral to pre‑op preparation, intraoperative management, and post‑operative care coordination. Core responsibilities include setting up sterile fields, ensuring strict adherence to sterile technique, circulating during procedures, and anticipating equipment needs to optimize flow and safety. You will supervise instrument turnover, manage anesthesia‑related monitoring, track patient status, and participate in post‑anesthesia care planning.

Emphasis on patient safety, infection control, and adherence to evidence‑based protocols will be a daily focus, with opportunities to lead process improvements, mentor newer staff, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other perioperative team members.
