As an Infusion Home Care RN, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality infusion therapies directly to patients in their homes. Your expertise and compassionate approach will help ensure seamless patient care and support the growth of our home-based nursing services.

• $125 per case
• $55 an hour (Hourly rate applies after an hour or more has been worked on an assignment/case)

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to initiate individualized infusion care plans.
• Administer a variety of infusion therapies, including IV medications, and monitor patients for safety and effectiveness.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding therapy administration and home care practices.
• Collaborate with our Infusion Intake Team and other healthcare providers to ensure a smooth transition to home care.
• Perform follow-up visits and evaluate the skills of newly hired nursing staff as requested.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using our paperless system.

• Comprehensive nursing assessment skills
• Peripheral IV, PICC, IV push, blood draw, dressing changes, Mid & Central line care, and access competence
• Implanted port access, competence is a plus!
• Educate the patient and/or family in therapy administration via IV
• Infusion therapy preparation and administration
• Patient safety, monitoring, and post-infusion follow-up
• Communication with patients, families, infusion pharmacy, and medical providers as necessary

• Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time RN experience in home care infusion, hospital, or medical facility settings.
• Supervisory or managerial experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge and experience in infusion therapies, venous access, and phlebotomy are essential.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and standard nursing practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Valid NYS Registered Nursing License and Registration Certificate.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Up-to-date medical clearance, including physical exams and TB & MMR vaccinations.
• Reliable transportation and two forms of government-approved  employment verification.
• Professional references and malpractice insurance.
