Hourly Pay Range
$36.00 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Full Time/Part Time:
  Part Time - 24 hours per week
• Hours:
  
  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (no calls or weekends)
• May be eligible for hybrid remote work options after 1 year of service

• License:
  Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education:
  
  Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for Healthcare Provider required
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5 years experience in perianesthesia (PAT, Pre-op, PACU/Phase
  2). Strong background in pre‑admission testing strongly preferred.

• Conducts patient interview via telephone prior to scheduled surgeries to obtain and share procedural information and directions.
• Provides patient education via telephone related to upcoming surgery.
• Informs patient of pre‑anesthetic evaluation process.
• Collaborates closely with the Anesthesia provider team.
• Ensures required pre‑surgical testing is completed prior to patient surgical appointment.
• Integrates research findings into nursing practice.
• Works cohesively with related nursing areas prior to surgical procedure.
• Maintains knowledge of nursing procedures specific to different service lines.
• Maintains knowledge and competency reflective of current standards of nursing practice.
• Promotes hospital quality improvement goals.
• Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit.
• Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guides and directs assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicates and collaborates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Positively contributes to safety outcomes and promotes high quality patient experience.
