Duties and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Telephone Triage Nurse (RN) responsible for providing telephone advice and care for a fast-paced pediatric office. The Telephone Triage Nurse is responsible for knowing and supporting the practice by providing clinical phone advice, patient education, and high-quality care to the families they serve. This is a remote position available to nurses in Maryland with an active Maryland RN license.
WorkSchedule
We are hiring full-time, part-time, and weekend positions.
- Full-time: 32 hours/week and up to 2 additional weekend days (Saturdays or Sundays) per month.
Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:30pm or 11:00am-8:00pm
- Fridays: 8:00am-5:00pm
- Certifications
Required:- Registered Nurse with current licensure with the State Board of Nursing in Maryland.
- Current BLS certification
- 1-2 years of pediatric nursing experience
- Must have astute clinical and nursing judgement and ability to assess patients accurately via telephone conversation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
- Basic knowledge of using an electronic medical record (EMR) and proficient in MS Office software and Web-based platforms
- Display a positive and resourceful attitude.
- Detail-oriented, organized, able to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a team player and be able to work independently with daily responsibilities
