Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or Gujarat Nursing Council
:

  B.Sc. (Nursing), or
• Post Basic
  
  B.Sc. (Nursing), or
• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
  and a Post Basic Diploma in Nurse Practitioner Midwifery
  .

Additional Requirements :

• Basic knowledge of computer applications as per the Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967.
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both

• Must be registered under the Gujarat Nursing Council as a Nurse Practitioner in Midwifery before applying.

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age Relaxation as per rules
• Rs. 40,800/- Fixed for Five Years.
