Overview

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, located in Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Vascular and Interventional Procedures Unit - PVI Endovascular Lab. Generous Sign-On Bonus up to 15K for Qualified Applicants!

Full Time Day Shift Position, schedule procedures posted Monday - Friday 7:30am to 5pm. Weekend, holiday, and overnight call will be required. 30-minute call response time. Call every 3rd weekend; weekend call is Friday 1700, Sat 24 hrs, Sun 24 hrs.

• Our department includes 25-bed prep & recovery unit and 8 procedure rooms.
• Nurses are cross-trained in interventional radiology, neuro, ultrasound and vascular procedures. We are looking for a strong nurse due to the autonomy and critical thinking needed in this role.
• The procedure nurse provides hemodynamic monitoring, administers moderate sedation, and assists the interdisciplinary team during procedures to ensure excellent patient care.
• The procedure nurse assists in the Vascular & Interventional Centers pre-op and recovery area to ensure a safe and efficient transition for our patients.
• Experience:
  
  Critical Care, Emergency room, or PACU experience preferred.
