Registered Nurse - Home Health Care

Duties:

• Administer intravenous medications and fluids to patients
• Monitor patients during infusion therapy and assess their response to treatment
• Perform venipuncture and insert intravenous catheters
• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures and self-care techniques
• Document patient information, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment outcomes
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Skills:
Proficient in occupational health and providing quality patient care Experience with venipuncture and IV catheter insertion

• Knowledge of ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with family planning services and related procedures
• Experience using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth
• Competency in performing spinal taps (lumbar punctures) as needed
• Strong understanding of nursing standards and best practices
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to senior care
