The office associate coordinates with the local committee and state director to provide essential administrative and communication support for the Atlanta-Fulton Chapter of CEF of Georgia Inc. This role is responsible for managing key systems, communications, and processes that allow ministry programs, volunteers, and staff to function effectively and efficiently. This position blends communication and systems management. The office associate ensures that plans are implemented accurately, professionally, and on time according to CEF Culture Points

Location:
Metro Atlanta-Fulton Area with Remote Work Benefits
- This position is part-time, approximately 6-8 hours per week.
- Hours of this position may increase around July and August.
- Invoicing (processing and tracking payables and receivables)
- Coordinate with Bookkeeper and Board Treasurer to maintain donor records.
- Ensure proper documentation for donor receipting and audits.
- Process Pay Pal receipts.
- Send Donor receipts.
- Manage the chapter’s (Breeze) database, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
- Maintain mailing list.
- Develop and maintain registration forms for volunteers, training events, clubs, and programs.
- Manage profiles for volunteers, staff, donors, and ministry participants.
- Generate reports and lists to support ministry operations, communications, and fundraising efforts.
- Maintain information for each Good News Club: (church sponsor, Club coordinator, volunteers, start & end dates, location, school contact, monthly statistics)
- Maintain and update the chapter website to ensure accurate, current, and professional content.
- Coordinate basic website development, page updates, and integrations with registration forms and databases
- Draft, schedule, and send email communications to volunteers, club coordinators, staff, and ministry partners.
- Maintain email lists and segmentation to ensure timely and relevant communication.
- Generate All Donor receipts in a timely and accurate manner (coordinating with Bookkeeper and local Board/Committee)
- Monitor office email and serve as primary contact for Donors (Interim term only)
- Help with training events (in-person and virtual).
- Support for fundraising events as needed (notes to donors
- Manage volunteer background check processes in compliance with CEF child protection policies.
- Track completion of required screenings and training.
- Maintain confidential and secure records related to volunteer compliance.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience with accounting systems preferred.
- Comfort with databases, online forms, and church/ministry management software (e.g., Breeze).
- Experience with website content management systems and email platforms.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and systems simultaneously.
- Works well on a team—open to sharing ideas, receiving input and collaborating toward shared goals.
- Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
- Supports CEF through regular prayer.
- Successfully passes a background check
