Town shippers’ Association is looking for a Bi‑Lingo Coordinator to support the Community and Culture (CC) program, with a focus on the Bi‑Lingo. The incumbent will assist the CC Program Manager in collaborating with community and institutional partners, as well as in planning, organizing, and delivering events and activities aimed at improving access to services in English and strengthening community capacity across the Eastern Townships region.
MajorResponsibilities CC & Bi‑Lingo Support & Coordination
- Assist the CC program manager to work with community partners in the employment, education, artistic, and cultural sectors to address service gaps, support partners with the creation and/or distribution of informative material in English, and assist them with outreach activities aimed at the English‑speaking population.
- Assist the CC program manager on recruitment, event planning, mentor/mentee pairing, publicity, outreach, and communications for the Bi‑Lingo Program.
- Assist the CC program manager on the creation of a program guide and program design principals for the expansion of the Bi‑Lingo program.
- Organize or co‑organize CC and Bi‑Lingo events such as networking activities, meetings, and workshops for community partners. This component includes event planning, coordination, promotion, attending/hosting activities, and collecting feedback for program evaluations.
- Organize and attend meetings with community and institutional partners in the Eastern Townships, and maintain/develop relationships with key partners.
- Represent the interests of the English‑speaking community on local, and sometimes regional, committees and tables.
- Work as an integral part of the organization’s team (monthly reports, team meetings, board meetings, and committee work) as needed.
- Collaborate with the program managers on research, planning, and promotion, and offer feedback for the growth of the program.
- Coordinate with the program managers to collect, update, and organize databases, tools, files, and drives as needed.
- Assist the CC program manager to prepare related reports.
- Support the development and submission of a report on a quarterly or annual basis as required by the appropriate funders and the Town shippers Board of Directors per the stipulated funder’s agreement.
- Other tasks may be assigned by the CC Program Manager or the Executive Director as needed.

- College or university‑level degree in a field relating to marketing, business administration, sociology, social sciences, education, or equivalent experience (3‑5 years). Other combinations of relevant training and experience may be considered.
- Experience with program and event planning will be considered an asset.
- Experience working with external community partners will be considered an asset.
- Fully bilingual (English and French). The job holder will need to frequently communicate verbally and in writing with both English and French speakers.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong public‑speaking and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office, Google worksheets, and the ability to learn quickly and efficiently other related tools (e.g., Canva, Zoom, Teams, Mailchimp).
- Previous experience using Odoo and other CRM systems.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and follow a work plan.
- Familiarity with mentoring structures will be considered an asset.
- Sales and marketing skills will be considered an asset.
Salary: 23.00$ /h

Regular daytime schedule with occasional evening/weekend work required. Flexible, hybrid work environment (offering remote work and in‑office work opportunities), with an option to work from any Town shippers’ Association’s offices depending on need/location.
