Aboutthe Role
As a Local Coordinator with Greenheart Exchange, you’ll have the opportunity to earn domestic and international travel incentives while making a meaningful impact in your community. Our most dedicated Local Coordinators have attended conferences in Italy, Spain, Greece, Colombia, Argentina, and more!
Responsibilities- Recruit and support host families interested in welcoming an international student.
- Guide families through the approval process and provide orientations.
- Serve as a mentor for students and host families throughout the school year.
- Build relationships with local high schools to facilitate student placements.
- Encourage student engagement through volunteer activities.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Reliable internet access and home office setup.
- Completion of a Department of State certification test (Greenheart provides training).
- Passionate about cultural exchange and community-building.
- Skilled at networking and relationship-building.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Experienced in mentoring youth (a plus!).
