Nonprofit Development Manager; Part Time

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Nonprofit Development Manager (Part Time) for a mission-driven, community-based nonprofit organization focused on health advocacy and education
. This role is hybrid and mostly remote
, with occasional in-person meetings and events in Central Austin
.

This part-time, temp-to-hire role is ideal for a hands‑on nonprofit development professional who thrives in lean, evolving environments and enjoys bringing structure to systems and processes. The Nonprofit Development Manager will assess and strengthen current fundraising efforts, clean up development systems and data, and execute a practical fundraising strategy focused on individual giving, sponsor ships, and corporate partnerships. Working closely with interim leadership and board members, this role will play a key part in stabilizing and advancing fundraising momentum.

• Execute a development plan aligned with strategic priorities and near‑term fundraising goals
• Clean up, maintain, and optimize donor data, workflows, and reporting within Bloomerang and supporting spreadsheets
• Manage donor stewardship, outreach, and follow‑up systems to support relationship‑based fundraising
• Support corporate partnership and sponsorship outreach with clear value exchange and revenue focus
• Assist with planning and readiness for key fundraising initiatives and events, including a major annual walk
• Provide consistent reporting and updates to leadership and board stakeholders

• Hands‑on nonprofit fundraising experience across individual giving, sponsor ships, or partnerships
• CRM proficiency;
  Bloomerang experience or ability to ramp quickly preferred
• Comfort working part time in a lean organization with evolving priorities
• Detail‑oriented, systems‑minded approach with the ability to bring order to messy processes
• Clear communicator comfortable partnering with leadership and board members

This is a temp-to-hire, part‑time role with hourly compensation of $42/hour
. Client‑provided equipment and flexible scheduling are included.
