* This position requires Ministry Partner Development where the successful candidate will be required to build a team which provides financial and prayer support for salary and ministry expenses including benefits coverage.

Position Overview

The AIA Regional Director will work with regional staff, coaches and volunteers to fulfill the mission of Athletes in Action through the implementation of Action Camps, Action Clubs and other community based sports initiatives. While their main sphere of focus is their region, they will team up with the Regional Directors across Canada with the purpose of working together to develop and implement relevant resources and strategies across the country.

They oversee and are responsible for the following areas: hiring and supervising the staff and volunteer team in their region; the operation of camps, clubs and sports initiatives in their region; managing the region’s budget; developing relationships with local churches and community sports groups.

As an AIA staff, you will attend the bi-annual P2C Staff Conference and annual AIA Summit.
