Violence Prevention Educator

Eighteen and Under is a community-focused organization based in Forfar, with a mission to make a positive difference in the lives of young individuals. The organization provides resources, education, and support to empower young people and address important social issues. Through various programs and initiatives, Eighteen and Under strives to foster understanding and enable change within local communities. The team is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for youth development and proactive engagement.

This is a volunteer hybrid role for a Violence Prevention Educator, primarily based in Forfar with some flexibility for remote work. The role involves delivering educational workshops and training sessions to young people and communities, focusing on violence prevention and awareness. Responsibilities include delivering our evidence based violence prevention Programme to schools and nurseries, engagement in meetings and focus groups to evaluate and develop the service, and using creative and digital skills to help us with social media setup and campaigns.
