Overview
SALARY: $72,000 – $78,000
START DATE: March 30, 2026
LOCATION: Remote (U.S. only). Preference given to DC, NY, Chicago (or willing to relocate). Travel is required approximately 2-3x a year.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Associates play a critical role in ensuring the organization’s work moves forward smoothly, thoughtfully, and collaboratively. This is a role designed for early-career professionals who are eager to contribute to Leading Edge’s mission while building strong foundational skills in coordination, communication, data synthesis, and stakeholder engagement.
Leading Edge is at a vital and exciting growth point, having recently adopted a new strategy and we are hiring three Associates simultaneously as a cohort to build up our infrastructure to meet the demands of this new strategy.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Associates are responsible for stewarding administrative and coordination work across people, stakeholders, and teams. Managers provide strategic direction and context;
Associates translate that direction into organized, high-quality execution.
This role requires strong communication, collaboration, accountability, and attention to detail in a fully remote environment.
All Associates share the same core competencies and expectations and will be placed into the department where their skills, interests, and organizational needs best align.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work Coordination & Execution
- Track tasks, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple work streams
- Manage logistics, calendars, documentation, and shared tools to support team effectiveness
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in systems such as CRMs, databases, or project management tools
- Anticipate needs, flag risks, and adapt plans as priorities shift
- Communication & Facilitation
- Clearly communicate information in writing, verbally, and through basic visual formats
- Prepare materials, notes, and follow-up for meetings, trainings, or working sessions
- Ask thoughtful clarifying questions to ensure shared understanding
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal colleagues and any external stakeholders
- Knowledge Sharing & Documentation
- Document processes and contribute to shared institutional knowledge
- Support cross-team understanding of tools, systems, or programs
- Data Analysis & Synthesis
- Summarize findings clearly to support team learning and decision-making
- Use data and feedback to improve processes, communications, or program delivery

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
- 1–3 years of relevant professional experience (including internships, fellowships, or part-time roles) supporting programs, communications, operations, or stakeholder engagement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfort working with digital tools and learning new systems
- Demonstrated collaboration and accountability in a team setting
- U.S.
-based and authorized to work in the United States
Preferred:
- Experience in nonprofit, education, or mission-driven organizations
- Familiarity with the North American Jewish community and its nonprofit institutions and culture.
- Familiarity with CRMs, databases, or project management tools
COMMITMENT, COMPENSATION, & BENEFITS
This is a full-time exempt position, with a salary between $72,100 and $78,500 commensurate with experience. Leading Edge provides a best-in-class benefits package, including:
