Title: Senior Digital Engagement Officer
Hours: Full time (35 hours a week) – we are open to job shares and part time work
Salary: £42,064.78 (3.1% inflationary pay increase from 1st April 2026)
Location: London (Vauxhall) – we are open to hybrid working with at least 2 days per week working in person

- The Equality Trust works to challenge concentrations of income, wealth and power through digital communications. Describe a digital campaign or communications strategy you’ve developed that successfully engaged supporters and achieved measurable outcomes. What metrics did you use to evaluate success, and what would you do differently with hindsight?
- A core part of this role involves translating complex information about structural inequalities into compelling, accessible content for diverse audiences. Please provide an example of when you’ve taken a complex policy issue or dataset and transformed it into engaging digital content. What approach did you take and what channels did you use?
- This role requires developing supporter journeys and digital fundraising appeals to meet key targets. Can you describe your experience with digital fundraising? Please include specific examples of how you’ve used social media, email, or other digital channels to convert supporters into donors, and what results you achieved.
- Describe a situation where you’ve had to respond to an unexpected challenge or crisis in your digital communications work. How did you adapt your strategy, what decisions did you make, and what was the outcome?
The Senior Digital Engagement Officer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the organisation’s digital communications strategies enabling an even greater reach of our campaigns and messages. You will write engaging content to drive a stronger, integrated presence in social media channels and our website in order to support our campaigns, fundraising and educational aims. You will continue to ensure that the relationship between the concurrent polycrises we face of the cost of living scandal, environmental emergency and democratic breakdown and structural inequalities of income, wealth and power are high on the national agenda.
