Joining Wounded Warrior Home's golf tournament planning team is a high-impact role where effort directly translates into services, housing support, mental health resources, and programs that help veterans rebuild stability and dignity in their lives. The golf tournament fundraiser will increase the resources Wounded Warrior Homes can provide to veterans—especially women veterans—who need housing stability, mental health support, and community-based care.
Volunteers in this role make a measurable, lasting impact. Every call made, email sent, and relationship built helps ensure veterans are not left without support. Volunteering as a fundraiser with Wounded Warrior Homes is a meaningful way to give back, use your skills for good, and play a vital role in supporting those who have served our country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, cultivate, and steward individual donors, sponsors, and community partners.
- Support fundraising campaigns including holiday giving, events, and ongoing donation drives.
- Assist with corporate sponsorship outreach and relationship management.
- Outreach & Relationship Building:
Make outreach calls and send emails to potential donors and sponsors. - Outreach & Relationship Building:
Build and maintain positive relationships with supporters and partners. - Outreach & Relationship Building:
Represent Wounded Warrior Homes professionally in community and fundraising settings. - Campaign & Event Support:
Support fundraising events such as golf tournaments, community events, and donor appreciation initiatives. - Campaign & Event Support:
Help track donations, sponsorship commitments, and follow-up communications. - Campaign & Event Support:
Work closely with leadership and marketing teams to align fundraising messaging. - Campaign & Event Support:
Provide updates on outreach progress, donor conversations, and opportunities.
Time Commitment:
One meeting per week for 1 hour.
