Humanity Network in Uganda is a Community-Based Organization located in Gulu City, Acholi Sub-region in Northern Uganda. With a focus on supporting the most vulnerable children, the organization prioritizes access to health and education, while also addressing community issues related to criminal justice. This is a full-time hybrid role for a Freelance Fundraiser Volunteer located in Greater London, with the flexibility of working from home. The individual in this role will be responsible for planning and executing fundraising campaigns, building and maintaining relationships with donors, seeking grants and sponsorship opportunities, and organizing fundraising events. Additional responsibilities may include creating donor communication materials, managing online campaigns, and collaborating with the team to develop innovative fundraising strategies.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on creating persuasive proposals and donor communication materials
• Experience in fundraising, grant writing, and organizing events
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders
• Proficiency in using fundraising platforms, donor management tools, and digital marketing
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to meet fundraising targets and deadlines
• Passion for humanitarian work and alignment with the mission and core values of Humanity Network in Uganda
• Prior experience in nonprofit organizations or community-based initiatives is a plus
