This is a hybrid contract role for the President of Main Street Chamber ™, based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for partial remote work. The President will oversee organizational operations, set strategic goals, and foster relationships with members and partner organizations. Responsibilities include leading membership expansion initiatives, organizing impactful networking events, establishing strategic partnerships, managing budgets, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission of small business support and community engagement.
Qualifications- Proven leadership experience in a senior executive role, including strategic planning and team leadership abilities
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills to foster connections with small business owners, partners, and community organizations
- Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, fundraising, and resource allocation
- Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills; ability to represent the organization professionally
- Strong understanding of small business needs, community engagement, and nonprofit collaborations
- Results-driven with a passion for supporting business growth and promoting community involvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Nonprofit Leadership, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Experience working in or with membership-based organizations or chambers is a plus
