- Develop and deliver the RNID Near You community service across Leicester City, offering practical hearing‑aid support and information on hearing loss and tinnitus.
- Coordinate up to 15 drop‑in sessions and deliver services in community and care home settings.
- Recruit, train and manage a team of up to 30 volunteers.
- Set up and run drop‑in sessions, using local knowledge of the area to identify new delivery opportunities.
- Maintain accurate logistics and scheduling for all sessions.
- Motivated interest in supporting people with hearing loss.
- Home‑based role with regular travel to venues.
- Experience managing people or volunteers and events, with ability to meet personal workload deadlines.
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as required.
- Ability to physically assist clients with hearing aids sensitively, giving clear guidance while taking into account individual wishes and health needs.
- Good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
