The Volunteer Coordinator helps recruit, welcome, support, and organize volunteers, ensuring they feel informed, valued, and well‑matched to roles that fit their interests and availability. This is a people‑focused role ideal for someone who enjoys connection, organization, and community‑building.

• Recruit and onboard new volunteers
• Maintain a current list of volunteers and roles
• Match volunteers to appropriate opportunities
• Communicate with volunteers about events, schedules, and needs
• Support volunteer engagement and retention
• Work with board members and team leads to identify volunteer needs
• Help coordinate volunteers for screenings, events, and special projects

• Enjoys working with people and building community
• Organized and comfortable coordinating schedules and information
• Clear and friendly communicator (email and basic digital tools)
• Adapts to various software uses
• Experience with volunteers, events, or community organizations is an asset—but not required
• Interest in film, arts, or aging issues is a plus
• We would like a one‑year commitment
