Pay: The anticipated salary range for this position is $54,200 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant work experience, the skills required for the role, internal equity, market competitiveness, and budget considerations. We are committed to ensuring fair and competitive pay for all employees.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Shift times: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. Occasional weekends and evenings for events.

Location: Remote in MN

Job type: Salaried/Exempt

Travel: Regular travel around Twin Cities metro, occasional travel for events around MN.

Job Summary

Under general supervision of the Leadership Annual Giving Director, the Leadership Annual Giving Officer works to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors with a focus at the $1,000+ level. The position is responsible for working through a list of prospects as provided by our research team to solicit funds for general operating support. The Leadership Annual Giving Officer is part of a team dedicated to strengthening Planned Parenthood’s financial footing and creating a culture of philanthropy throughout the organization.

Position also has an emphasis on referring prospects to Major Gift Officers and securing Planned Gifts. The Leadership Annual Giving Officer is an advocate in implementing our mission “Advancing and protecting sexual and reproductive healthcare for all.” They may perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • One to three years of professional experience in development or a related field (i.e. sales, political organizing).
  • Willingness and ability to work well with high‑level volunteers and collaborate with colleagues across disciplines.
  • Willingness to do some travel and work some nights and weekends as necessary.
  • Demonstrated success in soliciting funds from individual donors or similar, preferably at the $1,000+ level.
Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Implement annual fund development programs that support the ongoing operating budget, including soliciting financial support, encouraging event participation and leveraging engagement opportunities among identified supporter group segments.
  • Achieve individual annual fundraising goals, including achieving or exceeding a minimum of 50 weekly donor contacts, with an emphasis on gift solicitation, and $500k in donations annually.
