Location: Remote
Commitment: Part-time (10–12 hours/week)
Duration: Semester-based with option to extend
Compensation: Unpaid through 2026, open to academic credit set up by student
The Brand Marketing & Social Media Intern will own social media content creation and execution across key platforms, while gaining exposure to broader brand, product, and business fundamentals. This role is designed to mirror the scope of responsibility associated with early brand management roles, with significantly more hands-on ownership and visibility.
Social Media & Content Ownership- Own end-to-end content creation for social platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, and others as relevant), including:
- Content ideation and storytelling
- Writing captions and on-brand copy
- Creating and executing short-form video content
- Managing posting cadence and content calendar
- Maintain a consistent brand voice, aesthetic, and tone across all content
- Identify and act on platform and cultural trends while staying aligned with brand strategy
- Plan and execute social content tied to launches, promotions, and seasonal moments
- Support influencer outreach, gifting initiatives, and user-generated content programs
- Collaborate on creative direction for campaigns and brand moments
- Track and analyze social and digital performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth, basic conversion signals)
- Translate performance data into insights and actionable recommendations
- Test and refine content formats, messaging, and posting strategies based on results
- Gain exposure to product strategy, pricing, and brand-level P&L fundamentals
, including how marketing and content decisions impact revenue and margins - Assist with competitive analysis, market research, and trend tracking
- Participate in discussions spanning brand positioning, ecommerce performance, and go-to-market decisions
- Direct mentorship from a founder with CPG and brand management experience
- Real ownership of visible, resume-worthy work—not just support tasks
- Exposure to brand strategy, product economics, and early-stage P&L thinking
