About the Role: Asour
Social Media Intern
, you’llbe an integral part of a collaborative, creative team. You’ll support creative initiatives, contribute to social media strategy, and help ensure brand consistency while driving audience engagement. The intern position reports to the Director, Strategic Brand & Client Engagement and will be based out of our home office in Topeka, Kansas. We work a hybrid schedule, offering flexibility to work both remotely and on-site.

As a social media intern, you’ll:

• Work cross-functionally with design, digital marketing, product/channel marketing, corporate communications, and other teams to create social media content and campaigns aligned with business goals.
• Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videosand press releases on social media.
• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.
• Brainstorm and research ideas for original content.
• Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience.
• Help create and edit short-form videos.
• Develop new strategies for increasing engagement.
• Assist with photo/video content shoots.
• Ensure brandmessage is consistent.

What We’re Looking For:

Candidates eligible for the internship will be full-time students available to work full-time throughout the summer.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Strong communication both verbally and in writing, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or with teams, ensuring posts are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Familiarity with digital marketing channels such as websites and email.
• Proactive attitude with interest in marketing, branding, and storytelling.
