MEXC is seeking a proactive and Web3-savvy Social Media & Community Intern to support the growth of our English‑speaking social platforms (primarily Twitter/X and Telegram). Working closely with MEXC’s global marketing team, you will engage crypto‑native users, amplify MEXC’s brand presence, and drive meaningful conversations around our key campaigns, product launches, and industry initiatives. This is a remote role with base in Singapore, ideal for students passionate about Web3, social media, and community building.
Whydo you do
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of Twitter/X and Telegram, including content scheduling, posting, and real‑time user engagement (replying to inquiries, joining relevant discussions, and fostering community interaction).
- Support the creation of short‑form, timely, and crypto‑native content (memes, tweets, community announcements) tailored to English‑speaking crypto audiences.
- Monitor platform metrics (follower growth, engagement rate, user sentiment) and compile weekly reports to inform content and community strategies.
- Engage with the global community, respond to user questions promptly, and escalation important feedback to the marketing team.
- Assist in executing online community campaigns, Twitter Spaces, giveaways, and other initiatives to boost community activity and brand loyalty.
- Track crypto industry trends, competitor activities, and viral content in the English‑speaking crypto community to provide actionable insights.
- Undergraduate or graduate student (Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related major preferred).
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken) – native or near‑native proficiency is required for engaging global audiences.
- Familiarity with Twitter/X and Telegram, and up‑to‑date with crypto culture, terminology, and Web3 trends.
- Strong interest in blockchain technology, digital asset trading, and the Web3 ecosystem.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
- Preferred:
Final‑year (Year
4) undergraduate student, with the ability to commit 4+ days/week. - Preferred:
Previous internship experience in crypto, fintech, social media, or community management.
- Exposure to MEXC’s global audience and hands‑on experience in real‑world crypto community operations.
- Direct involvement in MEXC’s global marketing campaigns and content creation processes.
- Flexible working hours and a fully remote work model (base in Singapore).
